Welcome to The Hungry Bear, home of the BEAR-GRRR!! We’ve developed and created the perfect recipe for our Gourmet Smashed BEAR-GRRR’S!! Making us a local favorite in Manchester City Centre since 2020. You can see from the menu that our love of bears has helped us in creating the fun and tasty menu that you see today.

Our aim was to create a recognisable brand that is fun, and more importantly different to all the other burger joints out there. You may have noticed The Hungry Bear’s mascot Barry the bear, he can be seen throughout our social media, website and menu. He has been with us on this journey right from the start, you will find him everywhere. We want the whole family (bear-cubs included) to enjoy our delicious food and whist as we know the pennies are tight, we want to ensure you get excellent value for money each and every time you order from us.

After having the same less than average burger over and over again, we believed there was a better way to give our customers choice. This led to the creation of BUILD A BEAR-GRRR!! Allowing you to Create your very own BEAR-GRRR!! Just the way you like it. The ability to choose your own bun, meat / meat free patties, cheese and pick from over twenty free toppings / sauces gives you over a Million different BEAR-GRRR!! Combinations to try. Literally anything goes here! Fun Fact: This means you can have a different burger every single day of the week, for the next 3000 years. All made using only the freshest (never frozen) quality ingredients combined with your favorite brands, meaning you will NEVER be disappointed.

Barry is The Hungry Bear’s mascot bear. He really is the coolest bear in town, from his 30oz Gold Chain to his designer trainers. You will see him driving round the streets of Manchester on the side of the Hungry Bear car. You won’t miss it, lit up like a Blackpool illumination. Make sure you look out for him on our social media pages. He’s known to give away free BEAR-GRRRS!! every now and then.
